Glass Properties Measurement

Glass properties are key for every glass.

GS measures the following glass properties:

  • Viscosity
  • Density
  • Electrical conductivity
  • Effective thermal conductivity
The time rate of heat transfer through a material is proportional to the negative gradient in the temperature and to the area, at right angles to that gradient, through which the heat flows.

Example: Effective thermal conductivity

The graphic shows the effective thermal conductivity of a certain glass.
